Exit Aisle Review
by Sanvedna S, Bookstagrammer
Exit Aisle is one such brilliantly penned short story which makes you daydream about meet cute scenarios inside your head. I won't be exaggerating if I say, I smiled during three fourth of my reading time.
This story revolves around Elizabeth who is about to board a flight to Goa from Pune so as to attend her brother's wedding ceremony. The twist to this story is her meet cute moment with a hot, well built and immensely charming lumberjack (as she refers to him) who later turns out to be a ship captain.
Just within five short chapters, the author brought about a frivolous, overtly cautious yet an amusing and amicable protagonist.
Although the lumberjack could have used some depth and character development but considering the length of the story it was justified.
I really hoped that the flight was a little bit longer because unlike the majority romance stories it wasn't in your face or too obvious. It was a subtle, tactful plot with a light whiff of love in the air.
The language used is extremely easy to read with fluent grammar and a pinch of puns intended.
All in all a very short romance novella which is sure to make you smile and unintentionally yearn for a romantic chance encounter.
P.S. You made want to look for my lumberjack Sue ðŸ¤
This story is available on wattpad and is entirely free for you to read.
