The Real Nassar Diamond Review
by Muskan Rajani (@thequirkyreader), Bookstagrammer
Galia Nassar has an 8-carat diamond ring, hanging from her neck. As much as it is a token of forgiveness from her father, it is also a constant reminder of who she is still married to as Rahel, her sister and she walk into a hostel in the island. What is harder to navigate – the history of the diamond or the pool of men vying for their attention?
This book has, by far, been my favourite one by Sue. While the other books mostly dwelled with the characters and their emotions, this one dared to focus more on the plot and I loved every bit of it.
The bond of the two sisters is so beautiful and left me in awe. They were shown as two strong, independent women, who went beyond beauty and knew how to take care of themselves and did not rely on the men to do so, even when there was plenty of eye candy around.
Rahel is an ABSOLUTE QUEEN and I lowkey hope we get another story where she makes an appearance. Honestly, I hope they all do, because while the real star of the story was the diamond, I do want to see how it went down with the characters involved.
This was an absolute delight and I can’t wait to read more of her books. It is available for everyone to read for free on wattpad.
