Memories of Grilled Cheese Review
by Muskan Sharma, Bookstagrammer
Memories of grilled cheese is the first story I read set in the pandemic scenario. And I know this lockdown was hard for many of us but maybe it turned out to be lucky for some and one such person is our protagonist, Anushka. ❤️
Just like any other day Anushka was working from home because of the lockdown but today she craved her favourite dish more than any other day which is a grilled cheese sandwich. As soon as she goes to her kitchen to finally fulfil her hunger she realizes she's got everything but the bread. Though her regular grocery day is Saturday but she couldn't control her cravings so decided it's time to pay an early visit to the nearby grocery store.❤️
Waiting in the queue maintaining proper distance, busy enjoying her music she hears a voice behind her. As she turns around there he is, a tall, handsome guy with a perfect British accent having a list in his hand that fell out of Anushka's bag and maybe that was enough for them to start a conversation, after talking to him for a while it's her turn to enter the grocery store, she collects her bread and comes back home regretting the fact that she didn't even ask for his number. But when Anushka was folding her tote bag a small slip of paper fell out of it and there was something written on it in a shabby but legible handwriting.❤️
"Let's chat about memos and lists again- Harry +91 8677734130"
Memories of grilled cheese is a three part long cute story. Once again Sue has done a great job with the storyline. The story felt real and omg I honestly skipped a heartbeat when I saw that slip. It's a story about fate, meet-cute, love. I honestly had a big smile while reading this one. No doubt I absolutely enjoyed it and the ending is something you won't even expect. I can assure you this short story will definitely get you back to your reading pace if you are struggling so go pick it up already and anyway don't you wanna know where the story goes? ❤
While you read this one let me also to the nearest grocery store maybe I'll find my Harry. ?
